Crash in Call Of Duty in trying to Connect #605
Comments
We need to diagnose it so deeply to find it out. |
hey sorry for late responding, yes i did test with and without udp and the results are the same |
maybe these things can detect packets are going through somewhere, idk |
If they don't accept the cloud server IP, there is no issue in VpnHood, and you need a server IP that does not recognized by the game. It happens when a game server actively rejects IPs from the famous cloud server (no home internet). Perhaps I need to play Call of Duty to find out if there are any bugs and packet loss! |
i did test it and it's fine with other vpns ( i mean i used singbox as a example for with the same ip which i used for vpnhood ) and it was fine and it only have problem with vpnhood. when i run and start COD in the start while it's trying to connect to server , it will check update and ... then it crash |
Can you start VpnHood in Diagnose mode and send me the report.
|
i did it and after game's crash i did stop diagnose but it said "Diagnoser has finished and no issue has been detected." |
Oh! Didn't it show open report! |
i'm using v553 . i tried twice and it wasnt showing open report and because of it i did another test about 2min "without game testing " and after stopping diagnoser it was showing open log or report. |
hey, is there anything eles i can do? i can record the moment and upload it here if you like to see the problem. |
We will also fix the diagnostic report so you can send us the report too. Is is this? |
|
yes, every new COD series from warzone to black ops 6 , use cod hq and first you have to open cod hq and the problem is when you start it and while it's redirecting you to the lobby , it crashes |
i did send the report to you . here is the refrence code: d0dc7e8c@20240911T185136-12219600 |
also i have captured the moment of crashing and i can upload if you like to |
Yes, Please share the link to the video too, |
clip-crash_75.mp4here is the problem. |
hey, i know you're hard working but may i ask you when will be the next update and have you found any solution for it? |
Sorry, we could not find time to work on this yet. It is important to us, but more crucial stuff is on the table 😞 |
Hey, can I work on this issue? I'm also having problems with COD. I believe this issue might be related to packet editing or similar activities. Call of Duty's anti-cheat system will close the game if it detects any unusual activity. If you can give me some hints to get started, I'd like to work on this. I have Call of Duty as well |
@ZenMaxe Thank you for trying to contribute. Recently, we have been very busy with some other parts of the project. It isn't due to the anti-cheat system, as we are working on the network layer, and packets must reach the destination unmodified. Also, other VPNs work on Call of Duty without any issues. Even if the anti-cheat system intervenes, it should not cause a crash. Hints: I must admit it is not easy to detect this kind of issue.
Once again, it is the most advanced VPN diagnosis; if you are still interested in solving the issue, you can ask me any question. It would be a great contribution to VpnHood. |
hey i was testing vpn hood and i found out in some process like call of duty games , vpn hood get recognized as third party app and because of that, COD HQ get crash. i did some testing and it happens only when VPNHood is connected ( if it is disconnected, things works fine )
