vouch adopts the Contributor Covenant 2.1 as its code of conduct.
- Be civil. Disagree with ideas, not people.
- No harassment, slurs, doxing, or targeted hostility.
- Assume the other person is acting in good faith until proven otherwise.
- If something feels off, raise it privately first.
This applies to all project spaces — GitHub issues / PRs / discussions, any official chat, and conduct in other venues when representing the project.

Reports are read by current maintainers. We aim to acknowledge within 72 hours and to act — warn, mediate, suspend, or ban — proportionate to the situation. Reports are kept confidential to the extent practical.
Maintainers may remove comments, close issues / PRs, and revoke access from contributors who breach this code. Repeated or severe breaches lead to a permanent ban. Decisions are made by simple maintainer majority; the reporting maintainer recuses if involved.
