Description of task

DevOps needs to keep up with the existing technology to make the codebase better and cleaner. We should create a list of plug-ins that can be used in the GitHub repository to make the repository better. For example, we need something for quality assurance, report generation, C++ linter, etc. The result of this task should be a list of relevant tools.

Suggested Workflow

  • Look in the GitHub marketplace and search for tools that we use. There should be some plug-ins for those tools that should be useful in the maintenance of the codebase.
  • GitHub Student Development Pack has many tools for CI/CD. Look into which of them could be relevant. For example, codecov was found there and we use it. There has to be more tools that we could use.
  • Google for more CI tools that could be used in out project.
