Sorry for opening an issue. Not sure how else to reach you. I think it would be super cool to see a collab of your ChatGpt module and NPC Chatter (https://foundryvtt.com/packages/npc-chatter). You could fuel the NPC's with way more realistic dialog with relative ease. It could be a really neat feature.
Anyway, best of luck to you, and thanks for developing this.

That's an interesting and cool idea, thanks! This can certainly be done in some way.
Although the usage seems niche at a first glance, so I'm not sure of development priority.
Anybody who is interested in such functionality, please sign off with 👍 or ❤️ at the first message. This will help me gauge the interest. Thank you for taking your time to do this.
In the meantime, @lancifer could you describe in a couple of sentences how you use the NPC Chatter in your games? How and when do you trigger the chatter?

Collaboration Suggestion
Integration suggestion with NPC Chatter module

Well, it’s great for helping automate shopping with some flare. One of the coolest use cases I’ve seen is https://youtu.be/W6z0pMUBAz8. It can be good for guards and other types of NPC’s hanging about also.
Currently you set up the dialog options manually into a rollable table. When the player clicks on an NPC, it picks one of the options.
I think it would be cool if you tagged the NPC with some characteristics that helped ChatGPT generate some things for them to say. E.g. “Former gladiator turned farmer. Sells produce. Proud, fair, and believes in hard work.”
