Does react-map-gl support React 19+?

I am planning to use react-map-gl in a project with React 19+, and I noticed the peer dependency says react >= 16.3.

I wanted to confirm:

Is react-map-gl officially compatible with React 19?

Are there any known issues or warnings when using it with React 19?

If it is not officially tested, are there any recommended workarounds to make it work safely?
