Where does RAG like pipeline gets stored in memory

If I want to design a chatbot which is grounded based on list of PDFs, videos etc is the best design to have a pipeline which does a RETAIN for all these files. Will these get stored as World Facts?

Yes, they will be store as World Facts. You will be able to use "recall" to search knowledge that you need.
Note that at the moment Hindsight only supports textual content so you'll have to convert PDFs to Markdown (docling, markitdown) and generate trancripts for videos
