[split-layout] Enable clicking on handle to hide one of the regions

Perhaps allow an option to show/hide a split entirely by clicking on the handle.

I like the idea of adding the quick way to maximize one of content elements. But doing it with the handler probably not the best option to perform that. Currently, when you hover it cursor becomes ew-resize/ns-resize which is a good way to indicate to user that panels are resizeable.

With your suggestion cursor should be pointer and indicate clickable region and in that case it becomes unclear that panels are resizable.

Maybe the same could be done with the optional parameter which will add ⤢ symbols to the top right corner of each content element?

i'd love to see a property like enableClickMaximizeHandler with a value of "first" or "second", wich indicate wich side to maximize.

Is there any possibility to add an event on the handler? click/double click so we could handle the resize with more flexibility?
