NordVPN causes UTM clients to lose internet connectivity #6284

Describe the issue
When connecting to NordVPN on MacOS, UTM guests lose internet connectivity until NordVPN is shut down, and the UTM instance is rebooted.

Configuration

  • UTM Version: 4.2.5 (81)
  • macOS Version: 14.3.1
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M1

For me setting virtual machine MTU to 1420 helped.
