No USB Devices connected MacOS

UTM Version 4.7.5 (118)
MacOS Tahoe 26.2

I'm currently having problems with my 2 USB dongles not showing up on UTM anymore for Home Assistant.
All that shows is, "No USB devices connected."
I've tried restarting computer/UTM, and changing the UTM USB settings. Is it a backend issue that I'd have to wait for an update for, or is there something to fix it?

macOS Tahoe (26.x) changed USB handling. few things to check:

1. check system report:

• Apple menu > About This Mac > System Report > USB
• verify dongles appear there first

2. UTM USB settings:

• VM Settings > Devices > USB
• make sure USB Sharing is enabled
• try setting USB backend to "SPICE" or "QEMU"

3. permission issue:
   open Terminal:

sudo kextcache --clear-staging
sudo kextutil /Library/Extensions/

4. try UTM 4.6.x:
   downgrade to test if its UTM version specific:
   https://github.com/utmapp/UTM/releases/tag/v4.6.4

5. check if USB devices need passthrough:
   some HAOS USB devices (zigbee, zwave) need specific USB filter config:

• add device by Vendor ID/Product ID instead of name
• get IDs from System Report > USB

6. reset UTM USB state:

rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.utmapp.UTM/

warning: this resets all UTM settings

what USB dongles are they? zigbee coordinator?
