I'm still successfully running 7.5.187 on PFSense 2.7.2 and would like to start helping w/ the testing around an 8.x variant. Which branch should we be using to help with this endeavor?

https://github.com/unofficial-unifi/unifi-pfsense/tree/tong2x-patch-5?

that is the latest on the 8.x series though not much change in code for that branch usually just firmware changes.
as I am not a coder my self and can only change/fix/update minimal code.

please test on on PFSense 2.7.2, last time it was tested there where error with mongoDB being missing or invalid link to the repository. it was reported that a version of PFsense is still using old mongodb repositor while the main code is in freebsd14.

Is there a reason that the master branch is no longer being updated? I thought this project was abandoned for months until I realized the opnsense branch was getting updates. Is this just a temporary thing?

most changes I am doing is just updating the firmware no major changes in code
hence it is not merge with master until reviewed
