Context:

  • Ref genomes list are configured here genomes.ts
  • Currently it is loading from Broad public S3 bucket

Issues:

  • Slow

Actions:

  • Consider hosting our own (may be custom) reference genomes
  • Consider S3 vs GDS
  • Consider caching and security (whether to be Auth-ed or public, etc...)
