Proposal

I'm asking why this component doesn't follow the design pattern aria https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/apg/patterns/menubar/
i think It's much better for users to follow as much as possible DP.

Motivation and context

Most Bootstrap components follow the DP ARIA, why dropdowns not ?
For example, one of the most annoying, is that when using down and up arrows don't cycle in the menu list
