hi

in http://getbootstrap.com/customize, it would be a nice improvement if we could save or import less variables to customize bootstrap.

it allows to easilly modify customization.

X-Ref: #9951, although I think you're the first to suggest including a way to load the config.

http://pikock.github.io/bootstrap-magic/app/index.html#!/editor allows ot save/upload less variables.
this is a wonderfull configurator, and it would be amazing if you can include something like that.

Customizer saves config in JSON file. Only missing thing is import.

This functionality will be added in the future, or it's impossible?

It will be added eventually. (Pull requests to implement it would be welcome.)
If it was impossible, this issue would have been closed.

Just came here to open the same issue. I have a very customized bootstrap theme and now the design agency called me to change some colors. I have to re-input alle the values...

Please make this possible, it would save your customers a lot of time (and headache when missing to re-input some parameters).

Import from a JSON file is mostly complete in thomaswelton@3b961cf

Not sure how you'd want this to look in the UI. For now I have gone with the idea of having a drag and drop target. Any designers in the house? 😄

Move down HDD img (separate row) and make it drag-drog target.

It looks great to me.
When will this be published or is there any Internet accessible site with this new feature ?

@tiagopsantos This will be available one getbootstrap.com once 3.2.1 ships. You can track #13790 to see any further progress on this.
