Discrepancy in number of games while using getTeamData

I was using the getTeamData function, as follows:

For ODIs played by India, I get a data-frame of 986 observations.

However, as of 11 May 2023, India has played 1029 ODIs, according to ESPNCricinfo Statsguru. What explains this discrepancy?

Thank you. I think I figured out a potential cause. There are 43 "No Results," which corresponds exactly to the shortfall (1029 minus 986).

To be fully accurate, perhaps "No results" should be included in the dataset — for instance, take an ODI game in which the side batting first completes their innings, and a rain interruption causes the game to be abandoned. The batting team's innings still counts towards official statistics.
