Status

I was hoping to be able to use this in grunt-editorconfig, but I'm not sure of how usable it is. What's the status of it?

This still has some bugs, but the EditorConfig file checking feature is fairly usable in many cases.

This is a Python library though. Did you mean you were planning on using the JavaScript core library: https://github.com/editorconfig/editorconfig-core-js?

This. Though I would like to eventually port this to JS, I don't have the time for it now.

It's not documented, we may want to improve the external API some, and there are still some bugs but this should be good enough to start development using it as a library.

The indentation checking is the most buggy part at the moment because the logic is difficult and the library used currently may not be the best.
