Hey folks, we closed any issue right now for a reason: I will recreate the TPT and rethink anything I have done now. As I've told, I want to focus on people and not on stations.
TPT is now part of ReThinkMobility, a group I've created to... yeah rethink mobility.
Our two main services are Shibi & Shuvi.
Shibi is our new standard for mobility data & service, which is flexible and readable.
Shuvi is a service which bundles Shibi data and gives you a multimodal way of finding trips. It's like a meta search API.
Shuvi & Shibi are built to be fuzzy, and that for a good reason. Because we want to connect people, and take a huge focus on them, and people have to be handled being a dynamic thing. Not like a station which keeps its place.
We have considered going away from Google Maps for 3 reasons:
iOS release would be expensive af then
No damn skins :/
Not free at all
In exchange we will use OSM with a custom skin.
The TPT APIs which we have created now still keep alive, because Shibi relies on them.
For bikes and scooters we will begin to work on Shiro. Shiro will bundle any provider to one place.
And I rethought about the design. We want to simplify, based on white colour, and we try to look more... Futuristic. These are our approaches.
