Hi, do you know why switch devices might be appearing as lights in Home? I've probably got something misconfigured somewhere but I can't figure it out. In the SmartApp, I choose the devices under the switch devices section and not lights.

Any luck figuring this out? I can probably help you debug. It's probably this line of code where it supports setLevel https://github.com/tonesto7/homebridge-smartthings-tonesto7/blob/master/accessories/he_st_accessories.js#L99

Nope, not had chance to dive into the code yet. To be honest, I was kind of hoping other people have the problem too and would fix it for me :). I have a workaround in that my switches are actually presented in SmartThings from Domoticz (because they're 433MHz), so I've just configured HomeBridge with the eDomoticz plugin for now and gone direct... but that's no good in the long term obviously.

I bet it's because some ST switch devices have the light capabilities by default and that's why they are being identified as lights. I will see what I can do to resolve the issue

There are now inputs in the smartapp to filter out certain attributes from problematic devices.
