What happened?

Hi ! I am using the Linux app in up-to-date Fedora 40
It has ceased to work properly following the last update.

At the beginning, neither the "left panel" button nor the arrows next to it on the top left side worked.
In desperation, I unistalled/reinstalled three times without success. This is the message I get now when clicking on any of the top icons:
Capture d’écran du 2024-08-21 14-54-45

So I guess I am back to using the web versions (which works) for now :)
Hope you can fix this, the app is really precious to me.
Have a nice day !

Hi all, thanks for helping !

I am the only one with the issue ? Anyone else using the app under linux ?
I keep unistalling / reinstalling daily (since Fedora is updated all the time <3) to see if it comes from my system, but the issue is still there sadly :'(

However the Javascript message above have not represented itself, but I still cannot use / call the left panel, nor use the left and right "arrows".

Is there a way to still download and use 0.16.2 version for the time being ?

Hey, I'm using Linux mint 22 and facing the same issues as you.
I've been using Obsidian for quite some time and wanted to try Affine yesterday but it seems my first try is a buggy version...

I hope this issue resolves and I can try what this app is about.

Okay, so version 0.16.2 is behaving the same.

What I did?

I was experimenting with affine, and exported a file as markdown.
Then I imported in another workspace to check how it looks after importing, well, it didn't look good. (I imported it as '.zip' because there was one markdown file named as 'index.md' and assets were part of my notes so I imported the whole zip file)

The title was imported successfully but the images and rest of the text was gibberish.

I was using the latest stable appimage and after that I tried beta, stable zip, 0.16.2 etc.
All seemed to remember my previous mess up, they opened the new tab which I created in the older (in this case newer) version.

So yeah this is my journey with affine, would appreciate it if there was a flatpak version, they always felt more reliable to me but localsend appimage never disappointed me.

Thanks for your time!

Thank you for your answer ! I feel less alone and now I know it does not come from my system :) Thanks ! 💯
