We can do two important tests and then also validate things a bit more.

That release is using 83 to trigger lighting on the lightguide - if we observed correctly, Synthesia should now cause lighting on the lightguide when ie using the test function in Synthesia as you did before where the touch strip was lighting instead.

• right after starting KS, use Synthesia's test program -> do you see lighting on the controller lightguide? Does it work properly or not at all or is generally functioning but possibly not matching the right keys?

We need to find the initialising command that gets us both, functioning lightguide as well as functioning key events received by Synthesia, triggering sound.
That release is offering a Pause function.

• when ie F6 is reached by the Fuzzing MK3 dialog, click on Pause. Now try to push a few keys on your controller. Does Synthesia appear to receive the key events and trigger sound?
• If not, depending on your patience, try neighbouring command bytes as you might have slightly missed what was previously softening the lighting. Maybe it was F5 or F7 instead.

In case the above does really do lightguide AND key events received by Synthesia, we could go ahead and setup KS manually to use F6 (or what was doing above) for the init in its normal function set.

That release is offering a manually setup init command -- the Fuzzing MK3 dialog allows to edit the 3 bytes sent for initialising the controller.

• attempt to edit what is currently setup to A0 00 00 and change it towards F6 00 00 (or whatever seemed to do above). Once you confirmed the edit with return on your keyboard, use the Reset function in the KS menu and see if lightguide AND pushing keys works as hoped.

I fear we dont find the right init command this way but hey, there is a German saying "Versuch macht Klug" (trying makes smart). I do however hope at least the lightguide support is there now.
