The so called Shirat HaYam, i.e. Shemot 15:1-18 has a long tradition of an ordering in an alternate 3-2 recursive columns with flow right, centered, flow left placement of the text.
This can be achieved on LaTEX either thru columns, may be just 3 and leaving once the center empty, or on each line placing the text in a flow cell, for example
