Should this plugin be used in conjunction with the Tasks plugin?

Thank you for making Task Genius. It's really filled the gap after migrating away from Trello.

I couldn't find it in your help docs, but should I be using this plugin with the Tasks plugin?

There's some specific collisions with tasks plugin. The "Advanced Task Statuses & Cycling" where you click on the [ ] to switch task states conflicts with Tasks Plugin (for further on the unexpected behavior, see footnote). In any case, the domains shared between the Genius and the illustrious Tasks Plugin are quite contested--it behooves your bug-free existence to continue using the plugin of your favorite choosing, rather than dual wield.

Eventually, it'll all sort itself out like an inheritance of princelings, but for now, stick to one. That's my opinion.

• Footnote: Tasks Plugin has a feature (on-task-complete, append date) that activates when you press "done" on a task; it appends a completion date. Supremely useful for legacy documentation. Unfortunately, the Task Genius' status cycling (eg. [ ] -> [/] -> [?] ...)--that feature got superceded by Tasks Plugin's forceful date appending! So, this results in moi not able to cycle through my task statuses (statii?)--all's I gets is [ ] and [x], which is highly unfortunate. For me.
