Difference between fastapi-mcp vs fastapi class supported in official mcp package

I see MCP official supports FastAPI Class https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk?tab=readme-ov-file#streamable-http-transport so it would be helpful to understand what is the difference between the two in terms of features and capabilities ?

Hey @bharathvaj-ganesan , can you help me understand what you are asking?
with the official MCP SDK you can create MCP servers from scratch, and you can mount them onto a fastAPI server.
with FastAPI-MCP, the main purpose is converting an existing fastAPI application to an MCP server.
