What happens to backlinks if a new duplicate file is created?

I just noticed this code in Task.isFilenameUnique():

        this._isFilenameUnique = allFilesWithSameName.length < 2;
        return this._isFilenameUnique;

I'm curious as to what happens if:

• when a task is first displayed during a session, and its file name is unique...
• but then later in the session, a second file with the same name is created - and that has tasks

Is there some code that clears the Task._isFilenameUnique value in this situation, or does the user need to restart Obsidian to then get the correct behaviour for tasks in the file that was unique and now is not?
