tabby & image preview - conflicting info?

This page says that image preview is fully supported with Tabby. Tabby works under many platforms including windows, and even win/arm64. But the same page says that under windows, only WezTerm and Mintty support image preview.

Can you clarify?

Interesting, I just found out that Tabby supports Windows.

I don't have a Windows machine on hand, but I guess it should also be able to preview images on Windows (not Windows WSL). What does it say when you run yazi --debug in your Tabby on Windows?

I run Tabby on win11/arm64 (native executable), ssh to an arm64 machine in the cloud. no previews

Is your version of Yazi the same on Fedora and Ubuntu? Are you using the same configuration on both? If you use the default configuration (by deleting ~/.config/yazi), does it work?

For Windows, did you set up file(1) according to the installation requirements?

While the version numbers show the same, please note that the builds differ by two months. You may want to try using the nightly version to see if it resolves the issue.

how do I get nightlies? nothing in releases. compile myself?
