Disable mouse layout changing

I always use horizontal split layout, but occasionally I use the mouse to make one window tabbed or split vertically. The problem is that also switches the default layout, so the next time I open a window, it will follow the layout set by the mouse and open more windows tabbed or verical.

I've looked through the manual and I can't find anywhere to disable this behavior.
