We have a hodgepodge of conventions going in our example JSONs: completely filled in with production values and partially filled in with descriptive placeholders. Neither convention is documented anywhere.

Anything found in reference/ should be filled in with production values. Undecided on how other workflows' JSONs should look.

Whatever is decided needs to be documented in the README.
