Such a name as you give in the XML in the i3d mapping section such you can use within i3d, usually the mapping is done with a i3d plugin before converting to i3d in maya/blender so the name corresponds to the name of the object/transform in i3d |

That was over my head, I guess for the most part I'm kind of confused, because when the guidance steering mod is add to the game, all semi-trucks, tractors, and harvesters automatically have the GPS option added in the store. But pickups are left out, so is there a line I can add in the GPS mod itself that would give all pickups the GPS option? |

no, it is left out because of the type of vehicle (a pickup is not a tractor or a combine so there is no point in adding GPS to it) |

I'm not a modder, and do not develop maps or mods, so I do not have the knowledge to do everything that I'd like. I edit xml's and use GE to do some simple map editing and that's about it.
I like to add Guidance Steering to a simple pickup, I can handle added the needed lines to its xml file, but when comes to adding the appropriate node id from for an i3dMapping reference, I'm not sure what name I'm supposed to use? Am I making a name up, or looking for something in GE to get an actual iD name to add an iD3 mapping line in its xml?
