I found something. It seems to be a length limit imposed by the database I'm using (mariadb) and it only affects the "stillat/statamic-search-report" addon I installed, not the Statamic site search (this works well). Is there a limit on the length of the search term in Statamic? If so, where exactly is this set and how can it be changed for all of Statamic, not just my particular search configuration? I have not set such a limit, nor have I found such a setting anywhere, but I have experimentally established that it is exactly 300 characters, at least that is the case in my install.
