Repo owner had a streak of activity from March 16th 2014 and lost it on March 24th 2024. That's 10 years with a github activity every single day! Hope he/she's doing well today.

Most of the time, owner did only one commit with really minor change per day. It's hard to understand and follow what have changed and why.

Owner doesn't answer to issues / pull requests posted.
There is no release, no version number on GitHub. The last release RC on nuget was on July 3rd, 2016, or September 13th, 2019 for the standard version.

I don't know what to think, but I feel something is strange here. What do you think about it?

Edit on the 15th April: it looks like he/she's back. Commits have been pushed with dates in the past, the streak looks to continue...

If you look at the commits, they all have the same title and are roughly 24 hours apart from each other. And they only seem to just juggling around comments or formatting.

I'd say they are just using a bot with some rudimentary randomisation to keep up the appearance that this repo is allive even though it isnt

Totally agree this repo looks super weird and I really don't feel confident including it in my game

I wish Unity would add their own standalone implementation of WebSockets (I don't really want to use Transport)

+1 To this repo is sketchy as heck
The author could sneak in some malicious code in one of those random daily commits, and nobody would be the wiser.
