A simple vs code extension, which helps to count words, sentences, lines, paragraphs or characters.
Firstly, download it from marketplace
Secondly, choose count mode. To do it you need open settings.json and add this line
wordcounter.type = "your type goes here"The extension supports 5 different counter types:
- word
- sentence
- paragraph
- line
- character
