Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Upon startup, the dialog for supporting Spyder is immediately moved to the background behind the main window. Users are likely not to see this at all.

I'd recommend a 20s timeout delay, similar to the update manager, so that the dialog appears after Spyder startup and to capture user attention.

This is probably an issue only on Mac. I'll take a look at it for 6.0.1.
