Plan predictions

Hey everyone,

New user here. I've setup my Sig Energy inverter correctly (or as I thought) but the plan page isn't showing any SOC decrease over the day, or recommending when to charge the battery (that I can see). It's showing PV generation and my import/exports are coming through correctly.

Is there something I've missed? It seems to be missing the 'plan' part of the plan.

Monitor mode predbat won't plan any activities

From that page:

"In Monitor mode Predbat will monitor (but not change) the current inverter settings and predict the battery SoC based on predicted Solar Generation and House Load."

This is what I'm wanting - for Predbat to monitor and preduct the battery SoC based on predicted Solar generation. So to confirm - that isn't possible in monitor mode?

OK I see what you are saying, the battery is showing as charging on solar when solar generation is greater than house load, but isn't showing as going down when solar drops.

Predbat does not plan any charging activities of its own in Monitor mode

Perhaps you need to turn Charge and Discharge mode on and then turn read only on to stop predbat from actually making any changes
