Always pop up a prompt box: indexing spring boot properties

Describe the bug
As shown in the figure below, a prompt box always pops up in the lower right corner of VS Code: indexing spring boot properties. This prompt is very annoying. Is there a way to turn it off?

Thanks for reporting and posting the video, that helps a lot. Clearly very annoying and should be fixed. Do you have a sample project at hand that could help us to reproduce the issue?

My initial thoughts here are:

• we need to understand WHY the language server tries to re-index the properties
• we need to change the notification mechanism and utilize the progress reporting piece in the status bar to visually this (instead of a prompt)

When I try your sample project (which seems to be a freshly generated Spring Boot project from https://start.spring.io, I don't see the prompt showing up when trying into the application.properties file. Can you verify that the exact same issue happens when you have an empty workspace in VSCode and just open this sample project?

This is the project I just created. However, I tested this new project in vs code, and the same problem will still occur. As shown in the figure below.

It looks like you have Auto-Save activated, which then triggers the re-index of the properties. If I enable the Auto Save preference, I can reproduce this behavior, so thanks a lot for double checking, much appreciated.

You could avoid this by disabling the Auto Save or reduce its frequency (as a workaround) while we work on a solution for the next release.
