Hey @rwinch, the breaking changes you mention are exactly what I was worried about with my implementation of MFA I laid out in a different issue. (Referenced below)

Is there any way we could convene in order to discuss the work I've already done, and the breaking changes included.

I saw the milestone was set to 6.0.x and was wondering if any breaking changes to support MFA have already been implemented.

@rwinch @jzheaux dont mean to be a bother but I am really excited about the 2FA implementation I laid out in existing issues. And am hoping to continue with the work, but definitely need some of your insights before I can do so.
