Become a sponsor to Patrick Fournier
When I was laid off at the beginning of 2025, I chose not to look for another job. Instead, I decided to focus on contributing to open source software, using my skills to build and improve projects that help others.
Here’s some of what I’ve been working on recently:
- A bug-fix spree on image-process, a Pelican plugin I originally wrote a few years ago, now maintained by other developers.
- Maintaining a fork of
iscanthat works on recent Ubuntu versions and supports 16-bit scanning. - Gorfector, an image scanning application for Ubuntu — I have a lot of film strips to scan!
I’m also working on a few other projects and hope to publish them soon.
If the software I create or contribute to has helped you — whether it makes your job easier, helps you achieve better results, or simply makes your life more enjoyable — consider sponsoring me. Your support helps me dedicate more time and resources to open source work. Sponsor an amount that matches your capacity to give and the value you get from my contributions.
Thank you for helping me continue this journey.
