What is Nodedge?
Nodedge is an integrated graphical software designed for engineers and scientists. Within Nodedge, you can design and simulate multi-domain dynamic systems by drag-and-dropping built-in graphic blocks. You can also analyze simulation variables and plot data files of many different formats.
Nodedge is open-source, and it is written in Python, today's number one scripting language. It provides you with a Python command line, the possibility to customize your block, and generate Python code from your diagrams. Nodedge graphical interface is based on PySide6 to access the complete Qt framework for next-generation user experience.
Why do we need your help?
Nodedge core is a free project, developed by engineers with a passion for open source.
Currently, Nodedge is undergoing a major development phase.
Your contribution will help us develop core features:
- a versatile and customizable plotting environment for the analysis of time series
- support of the most common data file format
- a simulation environment for the simulation of physical models, chemical processes, robotic systems, and many others.
Excited? Any little help can help up make Nodedge happen, faster, and better!
Reaching 50 sponsors will show us the adhesion of the community to Nodedge and make us envisage part or even full-time dedication to it. All the collected money will be reinvested into the project. It will cover regular expenses such as the domain name and informatics tools to develop Nodedge, as well as the outsourcing of specific jobs which do not belong to the core development of Nodedge (and to our competencies) but are all the same essential for a professional and unique result. Indeed, Nodedge is meant to be for professionals and engineering enthusiasts for whom Nodedge will be a second house. Hence, we want to give attention to the smallest details! Any little help will help us make Nodedge happen, faster and better!
