Become a sponsor to Bill Chatfield
I'm a software engineer in the United States. I am building software tools for developers and users. I believe software should do something to make life easier, not more complicated. Much software is so complicated to use that you spend more time figuring out how to make it work then you do actually do using it to solve your problem. That is a very inefficient use of time. And it is the fault of short-sighted software developers who can't see the world from their users' perspective. They understand how to use their software because they wrote it.
I also believe in making software available on as many hardware platforms and operating systems as possible. I don't know why any developer would only want people who use a single type of system to be able to benefit from their work. It is a waste of time and effort to target only one type of system.
If you like any of my projects, it would be very helpful to me if you could become a sponsor as this will allow me to spend more time working on that project and help me know which projects people want me to work on. I really like to be able to give software away for free. But, money talks.
