Hello! My name is Chris Hardie. I'm a deep generalist currently focused on software engineering, journalism and the open web. I have primarily worked as an Internet technologist and full-stack developer, but I have a range of experience as a founder, manager, organizational leader and community builder.

Much of my software development work is within the WordPress and Laravel ecosystems. I build and release WordPress plugins and Laravel packages, I contribute to WordPress and Laravel software and tools built by other people, I speak at industry conferences and events, and I blog about what I've learned along the way.

I'm pleased to be able to do so much of this in my personal time and for the benefit of the WordPress and Laravel communities. Any sponsorship funds I received will be used to support this open source work and to allow me to spend time building and supporting these projects.
