Yes, I did (yarn) but embedded TS support also displays any

NativeScript

Can confirm that this happens in VS Code too. The reason is that the dependency is not declared anywhere - it is symlinked with scripts. I would say it is out of scope to support such edge cases (and I wouldn't know how).

satellizer

This is a different issue. this.SatelizerConfig appears as any. But once you j2d to the property definition, then j2d to the Config import, then j2d into the file, you can go back and hover again and it will not be any anymore. I can not reproduce this with native VS Code TS support, the hover shows up correctly. @alexsaveliev

I went down a rabbit hole trying to find out why getDefinitionAtPosition() returns no result here. All files are available, program is synced. Somewhere deep inside the TS algorithm the declaration only points to an "unknown" symbol in the symbol table.
