INT


whole = INT(number)

Returns number truncated towards negative infinity.

Parameters

number is a numeric expression.

Notes

FIX truncates towards zero: it removes the fractional part. By contrast, INT truncates towards negative infinity.

Errors

number is a string expression: Type mismatch.
