To enable ping_exporter by czerwonk include role task: ping_exporter_czerwonk
The ping_exporter can be configured by defining the prometheus_ping_exporter_czerwonk_cfg variable, the simplest configurations only specify targets:
prometheus_ping_exporter_czerwonk_cfg:
- 8.8.8.8
- 8.8.4.4
- 2001:4860:4860::8888
- 2001:4860:4860::8844
Alternatively, a dictionary can be used to configure all aspects of the ping exporter, for instance:
prometheus_ping_exporter_czerwonk_cfg:
targets:
- 8.8.8.8
- 8.8.4.4
- 2001:4860:4860::8888
- 2001:4860:4860::8844
ping:
interval: 2s
timeout: 3s
history-size: 42
payload-size: 120
