I've been playing some PC rereleases of older RPGs where it allows you to play at faster speeds, and while you do this the music plays at normal speed.
I was thinking how wonderful this would be for replaying SNES RPGs, as more often than not I am playing at at least 2x/4x speed and often put on my own music in the background to avoid listening to hyperspeed garbage versions of the soundtrack.
I realize this would be difficult to almost impossible for the original sound tracks, but what if we could keep the MSU files playing at 1x speed no matter what? Since they are separate fully baked audio files this should theoretically be possible to implement.
