Retries to googe api requests?

Good day!
We are using idp-scim-sync as a lambda with 15 minutes default interval between invocations and it works great most of time.
But 3-4 times a day we are experiencing errors like this

"errorMessage": "cannot sync groups and their members: error getting users from the identity provider: idp: error getting user: ..., email: ..., error: google: error getting user ...: googleapi: Error 500: Internal error encountered., backendError"

And on the next run lambda goes well without errors. So we wonder if some retries can be implemented to mitigate single googleapi unavailability?
