Given many people are using this fun-wget script.
It might be a good idea to add an alert whenever the downloaded file is corrupted.

The alert can be as simple as an email over SMTP.

Hey, I want to work on this issue.
To whom is the email to be sent?
Also, maybe instead of ec2 you can use github actions?
