I'll be rewriting most of QST for the 0.6 release, including a new UI with more detailed information about the device, its connected devices and files downloaded.

Feel free to comment or discuss additional requests here.

Small request, I'm using the monochrome tray icon on Mac and I would love if the icon would be dimmed when not on the active display, and when the menu is open the black areas should invert to white and the transparent areas should remain transparent. Just makes it feel slightly more native.

Just make sure it still looks good when using the dark macOS theme.

@bsiegel I can take a look into this, but it'll be quiet tricky as this is probably coming from Qt itself.

a little idea, would be great that the WebUI opens in a default browser window instead of application web view window to free some RAM

@gabretana this is already implemented and can be compiled with:
cmake -DQST_BUILD_NATIVEBROWSER=1

@sieren I think having the options only "default-icon" and "monochrome-icon" is not enough. Monochrome does not specify if it is dark or bright.
As I am having a dark tray-bar I would also suggest having only this as an icon. The black will never suit all users. The same applies to the brighter version (just inverted).
