The Konflux CI project has experimented with using Kata peer pods to
run builds on remote VMs with different CPU architectures. This PoC
proved that the Kubernetes fundamentals (use of Kata `RuntimeClass`
pods) work, however there are significant barriers to provisioning and
managing the peer pod VMs. Added this background context and PoC result
to the proposal.
