Serene has 4 icon font libraries baked in that you can use in your elements such as buttons:

Glyphicon comes with Bootstrap. CSS Class: glyphicon
Simple Icons CSS Class: icon
FontAwesome CSS Class: fa
IonicIcons CSS Class: ion

Example: <i class="fa fa-birthday-cake" aria-hidden="true"></i>
