What makes you think that is a bug? Ricard_Sánchez.jpg has non english character and this is highlighted in error message. |

Sorry, maybe I'm not sure what's a bug or a different issue. But other commands in Python can handle these characters but DeepFace cannot. Is there a way around that you can suggest? thanks a lot! |

Some versions of opencv cannot handle non English character. That is why, we added that control in opencv. |

What happened instead?
it cannot read non-english characters. I assume is an issue with this version of the code since last year the same code was running ok with non-english characters.
