Description
I made the last change to the main branch a year ago and I don't have the ability to publish a release. I'm not seeing any other maintainers jump in either.
What I can do is change the README to say this project is no longer maintained and instead we recommend switching to XYZ. Along with that, I can help build shims or migration tools to make the process more seamless.
I haven't directly used selectize in a few years. My current app just uses plain old Alpine and some basic Tailwind styles to make it work.
It seems like Choices is the closest autocomplete solution to this.
Or maybe Algolia's autocomplete or autoComplete.js can work too?
I'd like to work with a few folks on making a smooth transition to something and then placing those recommendations at the top of the README. We may not need to add any features to these other projects, just have something that reads through your project and renames keywords from selectize to XYZ's property and function names.
I just need some volunteers. People who can write a little code to make this easier and smoother for everyone else. I'd like to spin up a quick Slack or Discord, try out a few things, crank out a couple recommendations and then I'll update the README.
Thoughts?
