Selectize prevents editing after selecting all content with cmd+a

Chrome 31 and Firefox 25 are exhibiting an odd behavior when I cmd+a to select the text in a Selectize input. Basically it pulls up the dropdown and selects whatever is currently selected. If I click the input again, I am prevented from entering any text. This bug is reproducible in both Chrome and Firefox on the Selectize home page on many of the simple dropdown selects.
